Promotion to Grade 13 will be based on conduct and academic performance during the Grade 12 year.

Absolutely NO student will be promoted to Grade 13 without CSEC passes in both Mathematics and English Language.

Each student is REQUIRED to do at least 20 hours of Community Service. In addition, each student may be time-tabled to be at a class supervising students in the lower school.

PATHWAY II STUDENTS WITHOUT CSEC MATHEMATICS OR ENGLISH (need to register and pay for the resit in January 2027 at the Overseas Examination Commission. Present the receipt to the Vice Principal.  (Classes in preparation for the resit is the student’s responsibility.)

Applicants MUST submit the following:

  1. Completed Character Reference forms (in a sealed envelope), one should be done by the Principal/Vice Principal/Dean of Discipline/Grade Supervisor/Head of Department from your last school and the other by a Justice of the Peace or a Minister of Religion.
  2. Biodata Form
  3. Course Selection and Area of specialization Form
  4. Parental Consent Form 
  5. The last TWO (2) school reports and copies (Not applicable to Dinthill Technical High students)
  6. Two recent certified passport-sized photograph – NO GRADUATION PICTURE
  7. Valid Identification either School I.D. or Passport and a copy
  8. The original CSEC/GCE/City & Guilds examination slips and a copy
  9. The original Birth Certificate and a copy
  10. Medical Report (after student has been accepted)

GRADE 12 (6th Form) PATHWAYS PROGRAMME APPLICATION

COURSES OFFERED FOR 2026-2027

Two Pathways are offered at Dinthill, Pathway I and Pathway II.
Placement in/ selection of the pathways depends on students’ qualification for the pathways and their interests. Students who are qualified for Pathway I (one) but who wish to pursue Pathway II, will be allowed to do so, subject to the availability of space.

Three areas of specialization are offered for both pathways:

(1) Business
(2) HTM
(3) Science

  1. Scanned copy of 1 recent passport size picture of the applicant (no older than six months, NOT a graduation Photo)

  2. Scanned copy of last school report for upload

  3. Scanned Certified Copy of CXC|NVQ-J/CVQ|City & Guilds Stage 3 results for upload if passes were obtained prior to this application

  4. Two (2) completed letters of recommendation (Download copy below and complete or use copies provided when application fee was paid)
